Fire Ops 101
On May 8th 2007, the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) sponsored the first Fire Ops 101 in Connecticut. The program has been run throughout the country and its purpose is to educate various local, state, and federal leaders on the rigors and challenges of being a firefighter through hands-on training scenarios.
The scenarios include:
• EMS cardiac emergency with CPR
• Vehicle accident with extrication
• Structure fire
• Vehicle accident with extrication
• Structure fire
