Flag Raising Ceremony
Date: November 10, 2006 Event Info... Hide Event InfoThe Flag Raising ceremony was attended by both current and former Middletown and South District Firefighters. The ceremony began with Chief Robert Ross re-raising the flag that had been lowered to half staff in honor of Captain Joseph S. Pagano, who passed away on November 3, 2006. The flag that was raised was previously flown at the Camp Bucca detention facility in Iraq. After the ceremony, the flag was flown through the Veterans Day weekend, in honor of all veterans, and then preserved and displayed inside the station.
