2006 Open House

Hide Event InfoApproximately 400 Visitors attended South Fire District's 2006 Open House and enjoyed perfect Fall weather while taking in the many interesting displays, having refreshments, meeting the Firefighters, touring the apparatus, and watching a demonstration of the "Jaws of Life" tools. Sparky the Fire Dog was a favorite of kids, who also got to jump around in two inflatable "moon bouncers", and practiced making emergency calls with a 911 simulator. South Fire District extends warm thanks to everyone who participated, including the Middletown Police Department, who conducted a very successful "Car Seat Clinic".
