South District Personnel Complete
Staff and Command Course April 11, 2007

I am please to report to you that Deputy Chief Steve Krol and Lt. Russ Jacobs recently completed the 2007 Staff and Command Course. The course held annually by the University of Maryland's Fire and Rescue Institute. This year's institute was held for seven days in Ocean City Maryland. The class attendees are fire service professionals from across the country. The focus of the class is an intense program on leadership, personnel management, media relations, strategic planning for the future of the fire service, discipline and incident management. We are pleased that we were able to send these individual to this program as well as the commitment of these individuals to be away from family for a long period of time.
