South Fire District to Host Open House

The South Fire District will host its annual Open House on Saturday, October 14th, from 11 AM to 3 PM.

Activities this year include:

Vehicle Extrication Demonstration – Visitors will have the rare opportunity to be able to be up close while the "Jaws of Life" tool is in use.
Sparky the Firedog – Sparky will be here to meet and greet children all day long
Fire Department Equipment on display
Middletown Police Department Care Seat Safety Clinic (10 AM – 2 PM)
E-911 Telephone Simulators
Grandma's Hazard House

As always, visitors will be able to tour the firehouse and see all of the equipment available to firefighters.
